About Me

My photo
Sparrow
I serve as a local minister with a Master's in Christian Formation and Discipleship. I am also in recovery, recently celebrating 18 years of sobriety from self-harm. Trained as a mental health and marriage and family counselor at MidAmerica, I choose to eat, breathe, and sleep the 12 step tradition and the sacred practices of the Christian faith as my hope of sanity. I am just a sparrow: a small, unremarkable little bird. Even so, God says I am precious - as precious as the very blood of Christ. So I share my faith, my story, my experiences, my life - because no matter how small or insignificant any of us may feel, that is how precious we all are: You, too.
